The roots of Nor-Chief Consulting Services Ltd. were firmly planted in 1976 by co-founders Mel and Elaine Palm. For over three decades, Nor-Chief supplied up to 90 field consultants for construction, drilling, completion, work-over, abandonment, and pipeline and facility projects all over Western Canada.
Mel and Elaine’s son, Darren, joined the family business in 1986 assisting in sales and co-ordination of field personnel. Darren became a partner in 1995. Elaine and Darren continued their partnership until 1998 at which time Darren became the sole owner.
